Alicia Cave is from the beautiful twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She comes from a family of six. She relocated to Houston, TX in 2001 to fulfill a college education and athletic career in Track and Field on a full Track Scholarship awarded to her at the University of Houston. She later went on to achieve her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing in 2006 and completed her MBA at Texas Woman’s University in 2015. After finishing her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she began her career in finance and banking. She landed a position at Wells Fargo in 2006 as a personal banker and has since been promoted to a Service Manager and Branch Manager. Alicia currently serves as a Relationship Associate in the Commercial Banking group at Wells Fargo. She's passionate about community involvement, community relations, and volunteering. In her spare time, she travels the world and helps other people travel the world at deeply discounted prices. Despite her global travels, she is a Trini to the bone! Trinidad will always be home, and her family is her foundation.
Lisa Joseph is a respected business professional with over 25 years experience in the
field of Business Development, Technical, Vocational Education and Training,
Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Project Administration and Management, Property &
Facilities Maintenance, Corporate Relations, Leadership Development, Strategic
Planning and Change Management.
Her professional career began in Trinidad and Tobago where she grew in the
international field in various roles. Since mid-2021, she has worked as an independent
project and marketing consultant in the real estate and construction industries as well as
in the non-profit sector.
Ms. Joseph is skilled in building lasting relationships with local, regional and
international partners. She has a passion for developing private, public partnerships
with individuals, companies, industries and countries. She possesses extensive
experience negotiating and closing transactions and has the requisite legal knowledge
to resolve complex issues. She is the holder of an International Master of Business
Administration (IMBA) from Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, University of
the West Indies.
She is devoted to her faith, family and friends and has three beautiful children.
Dr. Clay has over fifteen years of experience in mental health, specializing in clinical and organizational psychology. She completed her Master of Science and Doctorate in Psychology at Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and did her pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internships at public schools in Atlanta, Georgia. Her practice currently focuses on educational and organizational assessments and consultations in disability-related claims, psychoeducational evaluations, risk assessment, competence restoration, pre-operative clearance, pre-employment examinations, evaluations for behavioral issues and intellectual challenges, ADHD, and Autism.
Additionally, she provides executive coaching, solution-focused therapies (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive processing therapy), and outpatient psychotherapy for issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, and marital therapy. Dr. Clay is a passionate advocate for access to appropriate mental health care for at-risk individuals. Dr. Clay appreciates the complexity of human behavior, the importance of context and culture in clinical practice, and the need for continuing education and professional development. Furthermore, she is dedicated to respecting diversity and individual differences in clients, using evidence-based practice, and upholding high standards of care for clients while maintaining the confidentiality of client information and advancing the knowledge in the field of psychology.
Lynette Howe was born in the county of Caroni on the beautiful island of Trinidad.
After graduating from St. Augustine High School as the captain of the netball team and player of Carib Senators netball team she completed a Bachelors’ Degree in International Business from the University of Houston. She further completed a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration at Texas Southern University.
Lynette is an avid community engagement enthusiast. She currently serves as the President of the Greater Houston Chapter of the American Society for Public Administrators (ASPA), Committee Chair for the Advisory Board of the Barbra Jordan Mikey Leland School of Public Affairs (BJLM, SOPA), member of the Executive Leadership team of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) and Houston Public Works Toastmasters (HPWT) club 8276.
Beverly is the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Texas, in the Houston- Harris County Texas region. Beverly is a graduate of The University of St. Thomas where she received her B.S. in Politic Science Pre Law. Currently she works as a Sr. Paralegal for the Labor Employment and Civil Rights Division for the City of Houston Legal Department with 20+ years of experience in Civil Rights in Employment.
Beverly's goals for the Association is to bring forth a stronger foundation with strategic goals in introducing the TnT community to the Texas diaspora though education and cultural awareness and by participation in shared joint ventures within the in the greater Houston area.
Currently, as a member of the Fortbend Democrat Party of Texas as a Precinct Chair educating the community on the importance of voting.
Beverly is also a mediator, personal trainer and an award winning fitness competitor.
Ms. Jasmine Trier is a native of Texas, born into a military family, the daughter of Dr. Ashton (a native Trinidadian) and Jill Trier. Ms. Jasmine is no stranger to the field of education, non-profit organizations, and public relations. As a consultant and having spent years as an instructor at the university level, her passion and expertise in education, non-profit work and public relations has flourished. Ms. Trier’s Caribbean roots have been the inspiration behind her service on the board of directors for the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Texas since the fall of 2021.
Ms. Jasmine Trier received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s in health education from the University of Houston, where she also competed as a track and cross-country athlete. Since 2011, Ms. Trier has led various educational initiatives and events across Harris County, serving over 60 greater Houston area schools and hundreds of students. During her career, Ms. Trier has also taken part in developing, leading, and hosting several non-profit initiatives across Texas.
Personally, Ms. Trier enjoys devoting time to family and friends, traveling the world, volunteering, and fitness. Professionally, she continues her efforts in leading and providing her expertise to non-profit organizations, educational environments and public service.
Dr. Patrice Clifford was born in San Fernando, Trinidad, and later moved to Houston, Texas, where she continued her academic and professional journey. In 2000, she was honored as a recipient of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Texas Scholarship, recognizing her commitment to excellence and community representation.
Dr. Clifford earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2007. Her career in pharmacy began in 1999, and she continues to serve with dedication and expertise in the profession today. She is currently licensed as a pharmacist in 13 states, reflecting both her extensive experience and professional versatility.
In addition to her healthcare career, Dr. Clifford is also a licensed Realtor in Texas, expanding her impact through service in the housing and community development space.

Ein Tang is twenty four years old residing in Houston TX and graduated from Baytown TX being one of the new and youngest board members of the Trinidad and Tobago association. Currently working in his career field as business management for one of Texas largest grocery retail stores H-E-B as a service admin. Coming from two different cultures, his mother a creole woman whose family is from Louisiana and Texas, and his father whose family is from Trinidad and Tobago & the U.S. Virgin islands Ein has a very deep rooted passion for both his roots. Because of his passion for his roots Ein believes he can bring in and connect with both older and new generations of Trinidians residing in Texas and bringing the cultural awareness making it known in the State of Texas.
